DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Projects - Actively participate in all stages of a project life cycle in conjunction with the full project team. This will include accurate estimates during pre-production game development, design, code and QA within Production and ensuring smooth/timely handover into porting.
Art Creation - understand and apply “best practices”. This includes the creation of the highest quality art assets within the limitations set down by the team and an awareness of the limitations applicable to mobile game development.
Working with the coding team to improve the art pipeline and delivering the art at the right time to support the development process.

Qualifications


EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
- You are highly motivated with a passion for video games.
- Demonstrate an existing portfolio of work, ideally for released products.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in Art or Graphic Design.
- Knowledge of the production of digital art assets and techniques; and the use of these assets in the development of computer games.
- Competent in the use of all tools used in the production of art for mobile development. This includes Photoshop and Flash. Blender or 3D experience would be a plus.
- Ability to produce artwork at a pixel level in various styles and sizes coupled with a good understanding of the principles of animation.
- An understanding of optimization and practical experience of creating art used in mobile game development with an ability to produce assets following constraints.
- Low poly 3D modeling/texturing skills would be an advantage
