RESPONSIBILITIES (could include, but are not limited to):
- Install and configure Oracle Applications, Oracle Databases, Web Servers, and Oracle related tools and utilities;
- Size, upgrade and tune RDBMS;
- Review customizations including stored procedures and triggers;
- Apply database patches and install migration software;
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot problems;
- Configure communications environment and Intranet for Oracle Applications;
- Clone database environments;
- Research technical issues; and
- Provide after-hours on-call support of production environment.

Qualifications


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- University degree in a related discipline, or a suitable combination of education and experience - Oracle DBA certification would be considered an asset;
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a database administrator, or relevant experience; and
- Demonstrated ability to apply skills and techniques to solve problems; work independently; and strong verbal and written communication skills.
