The Development Analyst, under moderate supervision, develops cost effective information technology solutions by creating new and modifying existing processes in our Customer1 application suite that is moderately complex. Analyze system requirements, existing business processes, and information systems. Assist in system planning, scheduling and implementation. Initiate corrective action to stay on schedule. Create prototypes. Responsible for the full development lifecycle including, but not limited to: Code, Unit Test Plans, Debugging, and Design Documentation

Specific Responsibilities:

- Develop cost effective information technology solutions by creating new and modifying existing Customer1 application suite as per customer requirements.
- Develop and assess technical architecture, design, and framework.
- Contributes to the overall software development lifecycle including: requirements gathering and analysis, design, development technologies, release/version control, testing, deployment and support.
- Develops technical specifications and documentation.
- Performs application testing of components, modifications, and overall systems.
- Develop and implement training and documentation for applications.
- Works independently and as a member of a team.
- Contributes to team after-hours support duties.
- Perform other duties as needed and as directed by supervisor.

Qualifications


Education:

Bachelor of Computer Science Degree, or Mathematics, or equivalent related work experience.

Experience:

The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years experience in a combination of the following:

- Minimum of two (2) years experience in full software development lifecycle.
- Experience with Microsoft .NET 1.1 & 2.0.
- Experience with VB.NET, VB Scripting, and Classic ASP.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL and ADO.NET.
- Experience with JavaScript.
- Experience with HTML 4.0 and CSS.
- Experience developing Client/Server solutions.
- Experience in assessing customer needs and defining technical solutions.
- Working on virtual teams to achieve goals.

Skills:

- Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals within a team environment.
- Creative thinker with excellent problem solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Must possess proven and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and network operating systems.
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft server solutions.
