iWave Information Systems Inc. (www.iwave.com) is an advanced, Internet-based provider of online information solutions to the North American fundraising industry.

iWave is currently seeking a web frontend/backend developer.

The web developer will be responsible for the development, maintenance, management and most importantly the evolution of an existing software product.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to learn and have a diverse background including experience working with application/ database design, product development, and server administration.
Coordinating with a Project Manager to work on product Development & Deployment in a Linux/BSD enviroment, as well as have a working knowledge of various windows platforms to provide maintenance to 20+ desktops.

The successful candidate should have a relevant university degree and/ or equivalent work experience. Analytical, organizational, and professional judgment skills are necessary to be successful in this position. The ability to manage multiple and competing priorities through effective organizational, people, and time management skills is essential.



Qualifications


Cross Browser Compatibilty
Javascript Programming (Experience with PrototypeJS an asset) HTML/XHTML CSS layout and design LAMP Programming (Linux or Free BSD, Apache, MySQL, PHP5 (OOP experience an asset)).
Experience using svn an asset but not a requirement.

Other tasks include
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload independently Windows based Desktop support for 20+ stations Knowledge of network infrastructure and network operating systems

The full time permanent position is available at our head office in Charlottetown, PEI.
